{"id":7,"date":"2013-10-11T19:46:48","date_gmt":"2013-10-12T02:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.galtchristianschool.org\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2019-07-27T12:22:07","modified_gmt":"2019-07-27T19:22:07","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.galtchristianschool.org\/?page_id=7","title":{"rendered":"What We Believe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WE BELIEVE IN:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The inspiration of the Bible, equally in all parts and without error in its origin;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The one God, eternally\u00a0existent Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created man by a direct immediate act;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The fall of man, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace alone, and the resurrection of all to life or damnation;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The spiritual relationship of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, witnessing of His saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STATEMENT OF FAITH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong><em>The Bible ~\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (II Timothy 3:16). KJV<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Jesus Christ ~\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name (John 20:31). KJV<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Man\u2019s Needs ~\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23a). KJV<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>God\u2019s Provision ~\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).\u201d KJV<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Man\u2019s Response ~\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him (John 3:36). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
